About Me
My name is Sean Francis, and I’m a writer and teacher (Humanities and Spanish) who loves Love…and celebrating weddings!
As an ordained Minister in the Universal Life Church, I’ve presided at nuptials in places ranging from a redwood forest in Northern California to a music recording studio/event space in Chicago.
Need some help with your vows? I can look them over for you when you’re ready–or we can even generate them together. The perfect poem to accompany them? I’d love to recommend one!
I would be honored to serve your special occasion. I am dependable, reasonable and…presentable!

TESTIMONIALS
“Sean wrote an incredible script for the ceremony that resonated with both of us, and took time with us before the ceremony to discuss music, poetry, religion, and tradition, and how we wanted these represented in our wedding. He also asked detailed questions about our family histories, which prepared him for speaking with our relatives when they began to arrive to the wedding. Sean was both eloquent and professional. We were glad to have him as part of our celebration!”

"Knowing that Sean Francis is a literary genius, I asked him to pick and recite a famous love sonnet to mark the occasion of my nuptials. However, Mr. Francis, knowing that an important element to any wedding is a personal testament of the couple’s love story, went the extra mile. This came in the form of a beautiful poem he wrote. He had the forethought to ask my fiancé and I to share stories, both funny and poignant, of our courtship. He then molded them into a beautiful tribute that many years later, still hangs from a prominent wall in our home, a reminder of the love that brought us together. Mr. Francis will always bring out the individual love story in any wedding he officiates, his words resonating into the couple’s future lives."
